Phone (IVR) Banking and Contact Centre
These are the two interactions that, unlike purely electronic banking channels, rely on the customer initiating the call to the bank, rather than the bank contacting the customer based on the risk assessment of a transaction.
Similar to M-banking and mobile payments, both of these channels are reliant on a single device; a telephone. Also similar to M-banking, additional hardware devices are not realistically usable for authentication on these channels.
