Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Pat is the founder, Executive Chairman and CEO of ValidSoft. He has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Financial Markets. He is an industry thought leader, and domain expert in security, strong authentication and voice biometrics.
Pat has extensive financial services & technical experience and has previously worked in a senior capacity with Goldman Sachs, J.P Morgan, Credit Suisse Financial Products and Bankers Trust Company.
Executive Director & General Counsel
Alexander joined ValidSoft in 2010, when it was part of Pareteum Corporation for which he has served as Group General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary. He is now an executive Board member and General Counsel to ValidSoft. Alexander has worked at leading UK technology companies WorldPay and Autonomy in business development roles, before becoming a lawyer and public company General Counsel. Prior to ValidSoft Alex worked at Clifford Chance (in several international offices) and Bird & Bird in London, specializing in contentious and non-contentious IT, intellectual property and general commercial law – predominantly for technology clients.
Chief Commercial Officer
Tim has 30 years’ sales and sales management experience within the Software Industry. For the last 20 years, he has specialized in the software security sector and helped grow EMEA organizations ranging in size from start-up to >$100M multi-region sales teams of over 100 people. This has required development of go-to-market strategies, marketing communications plans and establishing key alliance partnerships and channels.
Tim specializes in businesses that are planning high growth and helps them scale to realize double and treble percentage annual growth rates. He ran the UK for Baltimore Technologies during their hyper growth stage and managed the Identity and Access Management businesses for CA Technologies and BMC across EMEA.
Tim has been involved in seeing through a number of company exits including OpenNetworks (sold to BMC), Clearswift (sold to RUAG AG) and iJet (sold to 3iMind). He has also been involved in acquiring companies and managing the resulting organizational integration.
Chief Financial Officer
Simon spent four years training as an accountant with BNY Mellon before turning his attention to management accounting in industry. A mixture of experience within retail, travel, publishing, lifestyle, and security sectors, has exposed him to a variety of challenges and taught him to find adaptive solutions.
He has experience with building financial infrastructures for a variety of small, medium and large enterprises. Much of this experience has involved resolving integration issues to provide a solid platform from which a business can make the transformation to becoming an industry leader. This stability is enhanced through constant review and development of financial and administrative procedures which in turn enable management to focus on top level decision making.
SVP Global Pre/Post-Sales & Business Development
Daniel Thornhill is a veteran technology innovator with more than 18 years’ experience in leading edge technology companies. As SVP of Pre/Post Sales and Business Development at ValidSoft, Daniel helps our customers achieve their goals through our technology.
Prior to joining ValidSoft, Daniel held a number of senior technical and management positions in both the Telecoms and Financial Services industries including companies such as BT and Deutsche Bank.
Chief R&D Officer
Benoit Fauve leads Research and Development at ValidSoft, with a special focus on speech processing, machine learning, deep neural networks and artificial intelligence. He has been with ValidSoft since 2010 helping to establish the company as a leading provider of multi-factor authentication and voice biometrics solutions.
Benoit oversees the development of the company’s core voice biometrics engine. His role includes managing the design, implementation and delivery of high-performance voice biometrics products, as well as managing strategic R&D collaborations with external partners, and developing the company IP and patent portfolio. He holds a PhD for his work on speaker verification and has significant commercial experience in speech recognition and acoustic monitoring.
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO Jon oversees ValidSoft’s QA, delivery and cloud service operations strategy, with an emphasis on building secure, reliable and scalable SaaS and in-house services for our customers. Jon combines a depth of experience with strong architecture, technical leadership and design skills.
His experience ranges from small systems for specialized users, up to very large corporate applications for financial institutions and utilities. Jon has a proven background in the delivery of solutions across a range of technical assignments, utilizing a wealth of experience in client management across a range of business sectors.
Paul is a founder, Chairman/CEO of Elmhurst Financial Services, LLC, a financial services company that manages agent bank portfolios and fintech solutions. Prior to Elmhurst Financial Services Paul co-founded FiNet Inc., a financial institution portfolio management company. Serving as its Chairman, CEO, and President until merging with a large financial services company, where he served as director and was an integral part of taking the company public. Paul has over forty years of experience in the financial services and fintech industry.
